Henry Chambers

Born on March 6, 2008, Henry entered the world alongside his twin brother, John. Due to complications during pregnancy, Henry was born without his left leg. Despite this, he faced his early challenges head-on, undergoing a few minor surgeries before quickly settling into life at home with his family.

At the age of two, Henry received his first prosthetic leg at Shriner’s Hospital for Children. From there, it didn’t take long for him to start walking, playing, and embracing the active lifestyle every young child deserves.

Growing up, Henry was involved in sports—wrestling, baseball, and football—doing everything his peers did. However, his true passion was always racing. From an early age, Henry showed an eagerness to learn about cars, spending time with his dad and grandpa, both dirt track racers themselves. Whether it was doing body work, changing gears, or helping out wherever he could, Henry was drawn to the world of racing.

At the age of 12, while playing junior high football, Henry declared to his father, "Dad, I want to race." That conversation marked the beginning of his racing journey. With the support of his family, they found an old modified car and began preparing it for local competition. Henry's first race came at just 13 years old, where he made an impressive charge from 18th to finish 4th—setting the stage for what would become an exciting racing career.

Over the next two years, Henry raced B-modified cars that he and his family built themselves. He also took his first steps into midget racing, with aspirations of one day competing in the prestigious Chili Bowl.

The 2024 racing season brought significant changes for Henry and his team. They purchased an A-mod, built by Mullens Race Chassis in Wichita, KS. Henry's performance was nothing short of outstanding, securing three feature wins, Rookie of the Year honors, and finishing 5th in points for the Heartland Modified Tour. He also achieved a major milestone by making his first Chili Bowl appearance and added a few wing sprint car races to his schedule, further expanding his racing horizons.

Henry’s journey has been one of perseverance, passion, and dedication, and as he continues to rise through the ranks, his love for racing and the support of his family remain at the heart of his success.
